Wild Wednesday

It was a clay day extravaganza! Each student, with Susan Janzen's tutelage, created either a vase or welcome sign in clay, using natural plant materials to imprint. They should be beautiful!

There are still a lot of permission slips for upcoming events - most notably the Revelstoke trip on June 4 - still lingering on counters or tables or in student packs. Please search and rescue and return as soon as possible.

Homework:

Novel Study - just read your chapters to be ready for a writing period or practise reading aloud for literature circle

Home Reading - you have the next five assignments. The first of them is due tomorrow. If you wish, you may plough through all of them.

Tuesday

Okay! I'm back, as promised. I think this blog is actually important to some of you.

I hope that everyone has seen the calendar for the month of June. We will be continuing with our Pioneer version of Survivor as our S.S. unit and sliding in science, too. Otherwise, it's reading and writing and arithmetic!

Homework:

Novel study: MMM, Esperanze, Parvana and Breadwinner - Golden Lines tomorrow

Dolphins and Midnight Fox - Golden Lines due Thursday at the end of reading time, so get your chapters read, at least.

Phrase that pays (in your planner on today's space): The 'pays' account is pretty broke.

See you tomorrow!
