Hello, everyone who might be reading this during the summer!

Only two weeks left! I hope you are making the most of the remaining days of freedom.

What great weather we have had. So far, no forest fires, even. I have dug, moved soil and sod, weeded, mowed and other glorious jobs. You have probably been  camping, bike-riding, 4-wheeling, swimming, fishing, tubing, skiing, and sleeping over at friends' houses.

Our classroom spring chicks are now teen-age chickens, crowing in various keys and with varying degrees of success.

HIgh on my list was to look over the newest version of the grade 6 math program. It isn't much different from previous programs, but be prepared for homework almost nightly in it.

I have also purchased the duo-tang (3-hole report covers) in ten delicious colours. Well, delicious might be a stretch, but ten different colours. I can't wait to see how you decide which colour for which subject.

BUT THE BEST NEWS IS that they were really inexpensive. That means that the previous $5.00 has now become $2.00 for your covers and paper.

If you know someone in the class who was not in the class last year and hasn't used the blog, please direct them to it.
