Sunday - One week left! Get out there and enjoy it.

Here I am in Kelowna - well, Westbank, actually. Well, West Kelowna, actually actually. We just pruned trees at my daughter and son-in-law's house. Coffee on the deck in the sunshine this morning. I hope the weather's this good at home. Have you taken care of the snow?

Homework: Melt snow and get exercise.

Phrase that pays: Tonight, at 11:30, will be the vernal equinox. See you next week!

Thursday!!

Well, we have had two tremendously busy days. Yesterday, we hosted the E.E.S. 4-7 class for a day of Festival du Voyageur. We ate, played in the snow and, generally, displayed joie de vivre.
This group photo shows some of the facial hair that sprouted over a fifteen minute period.
Today, Thursday, was the Battle of the Books. I have 'lost' the file, but will re-blog when I find the pictures.
Report card day! Please treat the Everything Book like a student-led conference. I expect to see the stars and wishes page completed!
See you tomorrow!

Monday Monday! We chopped, we cooked, we burned.

But everything smells delicious. The soup stock is excellent!

Reminder:

Wednesday is Festival du Voyageur. Students will need to bring a spoon and fork, a bowl, a mug and a plate.

Otherwise, they will be last served, providing we can round up eating objects for them at all.

I think we will have a great day!

Phrase that pays (in your planner on today's space): Voyageur food sounds delicious!

See you tomorrow!

Sunny Springy Sunday!

Maybe winter will end!

For our Festival du Voyageur, I/we need to borrow some sleds. The sleds about which I am talking, are plastic with sides and hand holds. They are meant to be pulled or ridden down hills with little kids sitting in them. Mine are by Norca, I think. They are reddish-orange and yellow. I will take mine to school on Monday so you can check them out. If you can lend us yours for Wednesday, it would be greatly appreciated.

SOCIAL STUDIES - THINK OF US TEST ON THURSDAY MORNING. THREE MORE NIGHTS TO STUDY.

Phrase that pays (in your planner on today's space): Have you found your voyageur costume yet?

See you tomorrow!

Traumatizing Thursday - Well, not exactly, but out scratch art didn't work out, so we redid it.

Thank you to everyone who has signed up to help with our Festival du Voyageur lunch. I will notify you about your time.

Phrase that pays (in your planner on today's space): Snowpants and pennies!

See you tomorrow!
